Team up with your friends and survive 10 waves of pixel monsters!

Pixel Shootout is a co-op, top-down pixel shooter for phones and PC. Squad up with up to 8 friends, dodge slow-moving bullets, and blast through waves of enemies that flank you, lunge at you and fire where you're going, not where you are. Beat the final boss to earn Coal, then spend it on new weapons, abilities and style.

🎮 Features

• Online co-op for 1-8 players. Host your own room with an optional password and player cap, or jump into a friend's room from the room list.
• 10 waves, each bigger and meaner than the last, with a boss on wave 5 and an enraged final boss on wave 10.
• Smart enemies. Chasers flank and surround you, Shooters lead their shots, and Dashers flash a warning, then lunge.
• Dodge-focused combat. Bullets are slow enough to weave through. Good movement is everything!
• Between-wave shop. Spend the cash from your kills on damage, max health and armor.
• Lobby with a READY pad. Stand on it with your squad to start the game.

🔥 Coal Shop (carries over between games)

• Weapons: Shotgun, Rapid-fire, Sniper (bullets pierce enemies)
• Abilities: Dodge Roll, Revive (bring downed teammates back mid-wave)
• Style: hats, bullet colors, bullet trails
• Perks: starting cash, starting health

🕹️ Controls

PC

• Move: WASD / arrow keys
• Aim: mouse
• Shoot: left click / Space
• Dodge Roll: Shift / right click

Phone

• Move: left stick
• Aim and shoot: right stick (fires while held)
• Dodge Roll: ROLL button

📥 Installing

• Android: download the .apk and open it. Allow "install unknown apps" if asked.
• Windows: download the .exe and run it. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway.

⚠️ Please note

Pixel Shootout is an early version (v0.2.0) made by a small hobby developer. Online play connects to the developer's game server, so multiplayer is only available while that server is online. Expect bugs, balance changes and new content.
